Siena has a fantastic warm welcoming environment that is great for everyone.
I cant actually comment on this yet
As a first-year minority student in a predominantly white institution, the education experience isn’t difficult, but there are countless social issues. There are weird glances and ignorant comments made. Such comments are made out of ignorance rather than hatred. Most importantly students and professors are oblivious to the ways their comments offend the minorities within the college community. The content of the courses is helpful and easy to absorb if you pay attention and reach out to professors when needed. There are numerous resources to help students with their coursework.
I think prospective students should be aware of the school environment and the little diversity present. An upside to attending Siena is the opportunities and connections that the school has but it doesn’t outweigh the difficulties of being the only person of color in classes.
Everyone is very helpful. Teachers are excellent and willing to help with everything.
They can improve on the food.
