I really like how kind, caring, and compassionate all the professors are.
There aren't a lot of vegetarian options, so that's something to be aware of. As well, the wifi can be pretty spotty sometimes.
I love that SU is so small. I run into people I know anytime I'm on campus and there are always people around to help if you need anything. The faculty I've interacted with have mostly been really supportive of my goals and have actively helped me get to achieve them. Since it's so small, all my professors not only know me by my first name but also know what kind of learner I am and my personality.
Some hiring decisions in the Theatre Design and Production department have been questionable. Some are amazing, but some just make us feel like we are a training ground for new teachers rather than the other way around. It is also very expensive. The city of Winchester is kind of boring (although you can find things to do and the Apple Blossom Festival is awesome).
