The small class size and ability to talk to teachers was the best part of Samford
Any minority is going to have a very hard time at this school. Also, the quality of academics is not great, I feel like I am learning nothing
I loved Samford's welcoming community, commitment to serving students, and small class size. My professors were always invested in my success and are still great mentors in my life today.

I have had an excellent time at Samford University. The Kinesiology department faculty are incredible. All throughout campus, you can find professors that care for you as a person, know their subjects as professionals, and promote the community of Christian values.
A lot of people leave on the weekends and all food on campus closes nightly at 8:00 pm.
I absolutely love the faculty. Every one of my professors makes me feel supported and loved. They always ask me how I am and express genuine concern towards me. In addition, most of the students on campus are supportive and kind.
I don't like the price. The residence halls are very expensive and the equipment and furniture in the rooms are not worth the price. In addition, the cafeteria is terrible. They've had undercooked chicken, hair in food, a cockroach in ice cream, and several cases of food poisoning.
I really enjoy how caring the professors are and the community in general at Samford. The professors truly care to get to know you and help you when you are struggling. My advisor has been amazing at helping me create my own major that is now approved to start in the upcoming fall semester. There are tons of ways to get involved and engaged on campus, and I am truly grateful for all the opportunities this university has blessed me with!
The dining hall food isn’t the best, but it’s also not the worst. I have the lowest plan for meal swipes which comes with more dining dollars to use at better restraints on campus.
My personal experience has not been great with Samford University. I haven't been treated fairly by students, more so teachers, and even advisors. I think just in general the school needs to be connected to the real world.
I don't like he community in general. The school seems to care about students on the outside, by with my personal experience they are more concerned about money than anything.
