My time at Richland Community College was overshadowed by the restriction of COVID-19. Some of the professors were outstanding when it came to making the adjustments for online learning. Others struggled. I liked that the teachers were fair and genuinely wanted their students to succeed. They were willing to help me.
With the COVID-19 restrictions, the laboratory classes were online which made it very difficult to fully grasp some of the concepts being taught. It was out of the professor's control and they work hard to figure out the best way to proceed but my learning style needed a more hands-on and visual approach so I struggled.
Richland is a community College so great to save money, but there are flaws with the college.
Retiring professors do not care about the students and science is not always in English.
I wasn’t really much of a fan of the school.
The staff was somewhat unhelpful. Not in the best area.
It's a good college and has very many opportunities for the community all the way from nursing degrees to trade school certifications.
I loved everything about Richland!
