WHAT I LIKED

Red Rocks has a great campus, wonderful staff, and a nice overall community feels. Their facilities are incredible - to the point where people have been surprised that I am at a community college when I talk about them. Red Rocks has been a perfect place to start my academic journey.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

There's a real lack of food options. I'm vegan and often would have to go to the campus bookstore for a snack. The vending machine card readers are almost always down and they have one sub-par veggie burger on their menu. Not the biggest deal but when I'm on campus for 7-8 hours a day it would be nice to have more options.

WHAT I LIKED

RRCC is a great school if you are purely getting an education. I am going back to school after several years removed from graduating previously. I do not need the frills of a big school with extracurriculars, campus events, parties, etc. My teachers are involved in our learning and want to see us thrive. The smaller class sizes and personal touch has helped me be more focused on my academics than in a bigger school.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

Red Rocks is great at preparing you for the real world. I am getting my associate's degree in the medical field and it is very good at providing everything I need to be successful in my field. My teachers challenge us daily in the best way to keep us on our toes and make us better because of it.
