PCC is a very inclusive community with highly experienced professors who teach not only at PCC, but at PSU, Lane, Lewis and Clark and Reed colleges. The value for the credits and the learning is phenomenal.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
It can be a tad bit casual compared to a university experience.
The teachers were very supportive of me and would advise me on what needed to be done. The advisors were also very helpful for both career picking and figuring out which classes to take for transferring.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
I started PCC when they went online which was really inconvenient sometimes. Some classes would've been a lot better in-person, so it was unfortunate that I was unable to take those classes in person.
It is a decent school, considering its status there isn't much you can ask for. Most classes are remote and fill out quickly so that is something you should be quick with. Most instructors are nice and calm.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
The lack of social life, most classes are remote so there is no chance to make friends. Classes tend to be very long and usually stretch one topic for a little too long.
While we do our best to show up-to-date information, due to COVID-19 and other factors out of our control, it is possible that the data we are showing about test requirements, application deadlines, and more, are inaccurate. Please verify with the college itself via their website to ensure you are aware of all requirements and deadlines.
