WHAT I LIKED

My favorite part about Peru State is how welcoming and accommodating every single person on campus is. It is not hard to make friends and the faculty is so caring. If you are planning on becoming a teacher, attend Peru State because the education department is the best department I have ever seen.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

The one major complaint about Peru State is the quality of the dining hall. Sometimes the food is great and there are tons of options, but other times it is a complete bust.

WHAT I LIKED

Peru does an amazing job of creating great academic environments and putting students' education first. They also stress a lot on students to make friends with other students on campus, especially since a majority of students are from out-of-state or city. I also have found that the homework loads for a majority of classes are very easy and I've had a lot of free time on my hands.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

As a campus resident, the dorms need some updating, to say the least, and that seems to no longer be a focus of the school. The rooms within the complex are pretty small and I would tell any incoming student to sign up for housing as soon as possible and try not to get their hopes up on having an amazing living space.
