WHAT I LIKED

At least for the English department, the professors are there because they're passionate about the work. Occasionally, the amount of reading can be tough but it's all about powering through. Plus being able to share your opinions in a very accepting environment has been the highlight of my time here at OCC.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

Use the professors to your advantage. Many of them genuinely care about you as a person outside of being a student. If there's a professor you're having trouble with, talking to them or to another professor for help is crucial. If things don't work out, it's just a semester.

WHAT I LIKED

I liked the campus of OCC, as well as the teachers and community. Every teacher that I had were very supportive and gave me extra credit opportunities. The new buildings on campus such as the College Center are amazing. In the college center is a great cafeteria and a ton of other students to converse with.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

The only thing I did not like sometimes was getting a far-away parking spot.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

The chemistry professor is horrible. Never teach us anything and would just hand us some assignment to self-study. quiz every week is a huge nightmare and there is also an exam every 2-3 weeks.
