WHAT I LIKED

I really like NSU. It is a really good place to go whether you are shy or outgoing, the academic work is challenging but not to an extent that you aren't learning. It is easy to make friends and still have your alone time. They are numerous places to study or just hang out. It really is fitting for whatever type of person you are.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

The welcome week can be kind of a killer. Sometimes it is difficult to figure out who you need to talk to about a problem or something like that.

WHAT I LIKED

I enjoyed how the professors were personable and very student-oriented. They definitely had the best interest of all the students in mind, and there were various resources throughout my times there that were very helpful. There were many student organizations that helped you feel apart of the community. Everyone there was so nice and the campus is gorgeous.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

The dorm rooms are quite small compared to other universities I have visited. It is quite a large campus so there’s a lot of walking. Talequah is out in the middle of nowhere in Oklahoma it feels like. Therefore, there’s not a lot to do outside from the campus itself.
