An International community college, with excellent behavioral staff. They care too much about students' education and are so helpful.
I think everything is great.
When it comes to Northampton, the staff alone is very helpful, they help and can discuss your payment plan when paying your tuition, scholarships are available for all students and you can apply for online or in-person learning, you can even apply for hybrid learning. Every student is assigned a successful navigator, who will help you choose your classes as well as discuss any problems you may need assistance with. I'm a student in the Culinary Arts program, and so far. The teachers are very much passionate about what they teach and are always ready to discuss( or in my case debate) any food trends.
When it comes to Northampton, the only problem that I would be focusing on is the technology problem, mind you that the college has staff specifically in assisting with any technical problems you may be facing whether that be with the school's website or with trying to log in to certain things using your school email and ID number.
I loved the sense of community at the college, you always met at least one person who cared and wanted to help you. Not to mention it is easy to get involved and join clubs, giving you that balance of school work and social life. I think that the affordability and wide array of majors to choose from make Northampton Community College a good choice for anyone who wants to get a higher education.
My biggest complaint about NCC would most likely be the lack of professors and classes that are only available in certain semesters. If you need a specific class sometimes it may be only taught by one professor who does not have good reviews from classmates. This puts students in a situation that may cause anxiety and impact grades negatively. When it comes to classes certain ones are only available in the fall and some in the spring, so you have to work with your advisor to make sure you're taking the ones you need when they are available.
I really enjoy my program! I feel like this program really helps set you up to be successful in this career. The Vet Tech program has great professors who only want to see you do well.
Keep up with your work and fill in critical skills as you go!
I love that if you need help there is someone always available to talk with.
I had to pay for Office 365 myself without reimbursement and still failed the assignments I needed it for.
