Nicholls has many great academic programs for students to try. There are professors who really look out for their students and are willing to help them where they need it. There are some great extracurriculars to get involved in and opportunities that can help you get closer to your career goals. Nicholls is a smaller college in comparison to bigger universities which can be helpful when it comes to students being able to work one on one with professors. The campus is easy to navigate and I feel generally safe on campus.
While Nicholls offers many programs I do feel like there could be more variety when it comes to focuses in those programs. Class availability can be hard sometimes when it comes to scheduling required classes as well.
I was able to get my degree and stay at home, so it saved me money.
Too many campus life activities.
I like how it feels like home. Everyone is almost very familiar with each other, and as a whole, we look out for each other.
I don't like how they handle controversial topics. There are almost too many cases of stalking and SA in the school. Also, some teachers don't respect their students, are racist, or show favoritism. There is also a severe lack of diversity in the school's staff.
