Large diversity of groups of students. A lot of different housing options.
More healthier food options
I love NMSU. Everyone is very kind and welcoming to everyone. I personally love the Greek Life aspect because everyone is amazing. It also builds a very awesome community and support system.
I think the food in the dining hall is not the best, but there are still a lot of different options!
I love the open-door policies that my college has. I have a personal relationship with most of my professors and I never feel out of place
The dining hall is really hit or miss
The open landscape with many places to study inside and outside.
The campus is on a hill so in summertime going up the hill can be tough because New Mexico gets hot.
In the beginning, it was very scary, and not being able to have friends who go to school with me but with the courage to go out and do things on your own is very interesting. There are activities that NMSU hosts so that can everyone can go to such as movie nights outside of Corbett or either game nights. There is so much to do around campus and while doing these activities you can make new friends. The academics are very good, the walking distance from the dorms to the building is not far they are a good distance. The sports are very fun to watch in my opinion the hype is all about basketball. Overall, there is so much to do here at New Mexico State University that I would definitely recommend to those upcoming students to pursue their education here.
I don't think there is anything to dislike about NMSU.
NMSU is a mid-size campus with a fairly safe environment for students. Most of the educational buildings are within walking distance from the dorms and the whole campus takes about 10 to 15 minutes from one end to the other. NMSU offers numerous clubs and activities such as game nights or movies. It is a very friendly university with different cultures and backgrounds.
For me, NMSU could improve on helping students find study areas. For instance, I did not know about the different student lounges in the different buildings until my junior year. I think it would have benefited me when I did not have an isolated place to study.
