Mount Saint Mary's University staff was excellent and always willing to help you. The professors, Dean, and advisors are caring and prompt in answering students' questions. They also have academic workshops that help students academically.
I liked everything from Mount Saint Mary's University. I have nothing wrong to say about this school.
Mount Saint Mary's University has a committed faculty. Always there to answer your questions and guide you through any issues or concerns. The faculty wants you to succeed and are caring.
I liked everything. The best school ever.
Mount Saint Mary’s is the perfect school to attend if you’re looking for a school with small class sizes and attention/helo form professors. All professors care and are willing to help you with anything you ask for. There are multiple events that are held for residents and non-residential students. When you walk into any office, you are welcomed and really feel the love and support. Making friends here is also very fun.
There are two campuses for this university. I would just recommend not having classes at both campuses unless you can find a schedule where you can make it to class.
The Mount, Chalon Campus, is a quiet place tucked away in the hills of Brentwood. If you love nature and scenic views it is a lovely campus. When I attended The Mount, it was in transition from a small 10-person o. chem class to a 50-person o. chem class. The school by now has changed how they teach and offer science classes. Their nursing department must be stronger than ever. Along with the social justice program and a new program called geoscience which looks very promising. I hope they have also upgraded some of the ancient equipment. Overall, it offers the perfect balance of living in a big city while being able to retreat to a nice quiet neighborhood.
If you are not living on campus, be prepared to pay an insane amount for limited parking. There are also no elevators from the bottom level of parking to the top of the main campus at Chalon. Lots of walking around. Definitely take the guided tour before making your final decision. The campus isn't for everyone. Make sure to visit your professors and establish a relationship with them. Otherwise, you get lost and forgotten about, especially if you are struggling in the class. Cell service can be spotty inside the building so make sure you can connect to Wi-Fi or have a hot spot available.
I admire many things about Mount Saint Mary's University. I genuinely respect that they care about their students and encourage young women to make positive changes in our world by helping us grow in various aspects. Mount Saint Mary's loves creating solid female leaders.
The only problem with this institution is the tuition that may be out of reach for many.
My experience with Mount Saint Mary's University has been during the pandemic therefore many social activities were limited. They tried their best to still provide a good social life to their students.
Except for the nursing programs, MSMU is an all-women's college.
