Professors and administration are kind and understanding. Most look out for you and want you to succeed.
More student events can be organized as well as better food.
A good community college that’s fairly priced.
Sometimes professors don’t care about teaching.
I liked the ability to be able to afford an education.
Make sure to pay attention.
What I liked the most about MVCC is the staff. They are always helpful and there are a lot of resources you can use for your academic success like the writing center, tutoring center, and student life center. There are a lot of events that the school does throughout campus and joining clubs is great to meet people. At the end of the year if you are involved in clubs they organize a field trip to six flags so overall a great 2-year college experience.
I think everything in MVCC is great. Maybe the only thing would be to be careful with choosing your teacher because depending on that your class experience might be harder or easier depending on the teacher. Even though most faculty staff teachers are great there are some that might be stricter than others but overall nothing too crazy that is not manageable.
I like how the college looks overall, such as how modern and updated it looks.
One thing I didn't like was the cafeteria, especially the booth seats.
This is my first year in Moraine and I'm loving it so far. The staff is very friendly, willing to help with any questions that students might have, and easy to reach. Enrolling is an easy process. Online resources are helpful and so are the ones on campus.
Finding good teachers, be aware of the deadlines for many things including withdrawal and drop dates.
