100% of students
The entire staff that I’ve interacted with is extremely helpful and genuinely wants their students to succeed. There are SO many options for courses and pathways to decide what career path to go down. It’s extremely easy to switch between them if you happen to get into a pathway that isn’t a good fit
So far, nothing.
The school is affordable, diverse, and in the heart of the city. It has campus locations around the city as well. The technology program specifically the Biomedical program is one of the best in the state and they work directly with MSOE.
The lack of support regarding my mental health and the way online learning is handled.
The campus is simple to navigate.
Parking is the worst downtown.
MATC has great professors who will go out of their way to make sure they help you In any way possible to make your college experience a lot easier.
MATC advising department needs a lot of improvement as every time I attempted to get guidance, they weren't sure how to help me.
There are opportunities in MATC that other colleges probably wouldn't provide to students in Milwaukee County. It's easier to transfer to UWM from MATC than any other college, so if students want a guaranteed path and pay less for college, MATC is a great place to be!
MATC offers online classes, but you should be wary that if you don't act up, you'll slip behind in your courses. Just make sure you know what homework you have before moving on.
I love professors who are great at teaching.
