I am recruited to play lacrosse and i love that millersville is so accepting of who you are and they have so many opportunities to connect and meet new people. it’s hard to feel alone here!
there’s nothing i really don’t like everything here is just exceptional
Nice halls and technology facilities.
The majority of faculty in the design department doesn’t seem passionate about their students or the graphic arts.
There isn't a lot I like, to be honest. The professors here are qualified and generally interested in your success. The dorms here are very nice, high quality, and spacious, however, you are paying for that. Suite dorms are 4k a semester and you are required to buy a meal plan for 2k. I have faith that this uni can and will improve. The campus is in a pretty rural area. It is mostly quiet and peaceful if you're looking to get away from the city. Nearby is Lancaster city which holds the tourist attractions and events if you're bored. There are restaurants nearby and fast food places which is good because you'll be broke after college.
Since covid, this university has gone downhill. There needs to be more engagement, businesses, and things to do around campus. The professors here are qualified and generally interested in your success. The food is not great, but that's expected at a college. There needs to be more outside private companies where the meal plan is available. The dorms here are very nice, high quality, and spacious, however, you are paying for that. Suite dorms are 4k a semester and you are required to buy a meal plan for 2k. I have faith that this uni can and will improve, but right now, it is not ideal. Other students may feel differently, but the majority of students feel isolated and bored. I chose this school because of its price and proximity to home. The town of Millersville has very little to do. Luckily, it is next to Lancaster city which has plenty to do, but you need a car or ride the bus to access it. I wish I had gone to a different school, but I didn't, so I don't know if that would have been the better option or not.
