What I like about Midlands Technical college is that you can go anywhere from there. I was hired for a CNA job over a CNA that had four years of experience in the field, due to the fact that I came from the CNA program at Midlands Technical College. What I also like is how the teachers understand that you are going to most likely go farther in life than just Midlands Tech and will help you pursue your degree choice and will help you make the best decisions.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
I do not like how it takes three and a half years to just get an associate's degree. You have to take classes that you do not really need nor go towards your degree's field of study.
I never experienced any issues with the college or staff. This college is committed to their students success and it shows. They have many classes and programs that cater to your needs and schedule. The college also offers scholarships, honor society, and other student clubs that you can join. Overall, I enjoyed my time at Midlands Technical College and would recommend it to any person looking to attain an associate's degree or specialize within a particular trade/field.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
Truly, there was not anything that I could complain about. I would say as a general rule of thumb when signing up for classes is to research your professor and make sure the program is accredited.
While we do our best to show up-to-date information, due to COVID-19 and other factors out of our control, it is possible that the data we are showing about test requirements, application deadlines, and more, are inaccurate. Please verify with the college itself via their website to ensure you are aware of all requirements and deadlines.
