How do students receive work study at Metropolitan State University of Denver?

Hi Edith, here is the eligibility for work study: You must have completed a FAFSA for the academic year; Your financial aid file must be complete for the academic year; You must remain enrolled in at least 6 credits; You cannot be on financial aid suspension; You must have an unmet need of at least $4,000 for the academic year; You must turn in a work-study form confirming your employment (WK__) form found on our Student Forms webpage. If you are awarded work study you'll see it in your financial aid package.

Can a freshman live off-campus?

Hi Emma! Yes - MSU Denver is a non-residential campus, so no student is required to live on-campus. However, there are a number of housing and transportation resources available to students if needed at https://www.msudenver.edu/housing/.
