WHAT I LIKED

The teachers and counselors have been amazingly adept at accommodating people with different needs. they have a diverse group of staff and the awareness level of the staff that anti-racism should be a part of teaching practices has been really neat.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

Check individual teacher reviews to make sure you know what you want in a teacher. You can sign up for the same class with multiple teachers and pick your favorite.

WHAT I LIKED

I have been a student at Merritt for 2 years. As the first college student in my family, it was very confusing and hard to know what I was supposed to do or what I need to do in many areas of my college process. I, fortunately, had many people help me with my need at Merritt College, which makes me very grateful to know that there are people that will help me and anyone else who was in the same situation when I first started my first year at Merritt.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

There are some classes that are somewhat hard due to some teachers who make it confusing, but overall it can be resolved by checking in with teachers and letting them know if there are things that are bothering you on how the class is.
