WHAT I LIKED

I went to MacCormac online. The overall experience for the online classes was very well put together. The courses are easy to understand and the dashboards are easy to find what you need. There are plenty of places to get help including tutoring. The teachers will generally answer within a day of you emailing them which is nice since you have 1 week to turn in your assignments.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

If you are doing online classes, the hardest part would be able to keep a schedule. You need to be able to keep everything on track so you don't lose track of things.

WHAT I LIKED

I loved how small the classrooms were. It was easy to focus and receive the help I needed. The teachers were absolutely terrific and they cared about their student's success. If you're looking for small classrooms and wonderful teachers...this is college for you!

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

I have a love/hate for MacCormac because I loved the teachers and classroom experience BUT I found it difficult to get help from the advisors and staff. I went to MacCormac previously for one major and they told me it was okay to take a semester off to deal with some personal things. When I returned, they told me that I had to start all over. So I took the courses I already completed and put them towards my Criminal Justice Degree which I was going to get anyway. It was just devastating that they were going to have me start over with my stenography program. I busted my butt in that class and it was a TON of work. So, if you're looking for guidance from advisors, this college isn't for you.
