The main entrance to campus is only open to students or approved guest after a certain time each day. We also have the Lewis University Police Department that is available 24/7.

Every first year student (freshman and transfer) must attend our "Cornerstone" class which assists with the transition from high school (or another college). We also have programs for first generation students, and students who need additional academic support.

Lewis is considered a commuter school as most students live in the area but we do have around 1100 students that live on campus.
