For more than 150 years, Lehigh’s interdisciplinary nature and focus on the work of today has prepared students to take on the challenges of tomorrow. Located in Bethlehem, part of Pennsylvania's beautiful Lehigh Valley, Lehigh is one of the nation's most distinguished private research universities. Our ideal size of around 5,000 undergraduates and 2,000 grad students is large enough to offer world-class faculty and rigorous academics, but small enough to allow for close mentorship and hands-on research. Through creative problem solving, a collaborative culture and a focus on impacting humanity, Lehigh students are built for future success.
These schools are similar to Lehigh University in key aspects like size, setting, and academics.

I have had a great time here. Academics are hard but college is fun
The weather and the walk
While Lehigh wasn't my first choice, I have truly come to love this school. The people I have met have been amazing and there are places for everyone to fit in.
The party atmosphere, and the price point. Most of the campus is out partying on weekends and the drinking culture can be hard to avoid at first. The financial aid was amazing my first year, but quickly shifted and they took significant aid away for my second year despite difficult circumstances and medical expenses. The office requests you to fill out an appeal form for more aid, but there is a clause stating that they can take aid away which makes the thought of filling it out terrifying. I love this school but I might have to transfer because of the greediness of the school in terms of money.
