Still currently attending but it seems like all of the employees want to see you succeed. The professors I've had are very nice and are welcoming students to talk to them if they need any additional help with the class.
Some of the core classes are required but it is what it is. I will say that I enjoyed philosophy, ethics, and psychology (classes I wouldn't have taken without the requirementS)
I really like the Kent State advocates for equal and fair opportunities for everyone. The staff are very nice and helpful, and the students are generally easy to get along with.
The regional campuses don't really do a lot of social events to bring their students together and give them an opportunity to make friends outside of the classroom.
I love Kent State as a school, the academics, and the professors are all spectacular. I enjoy the atmosphere around campus, especially when the weather is nice because you can see everyone out and about. I also love to go to the library here, it’s huge and so tall, it’s nice to look out the window while I do my homework.
The food is awful, as there are limited options to what someone can get with their meal plan, and the food you can get is quite awful. I dislike the lack of options, and I tend to stay in my dorm to eat rather than anywhere else. I wish food, and more options were more accessible. The meal plan is way overpriced for what food options they offer.
I appreciate the various majors available for any type of career that could be pursued, as well as the various clubs available.
Varying quality of dorms (from wonderful to needing TLC), dining hall food varies in quality but various options are offered. Calling student services can have you waiting for up to an hour before your call is answered.
I love the school's support groups and friendly students. Everyone I talk to is super nice and has a lot to say. I rarely had a lonely day.
The supportive professors and diverse clubs to choose from.
The staff is very friendly and passionate about what they do.
Dining halls do not always have the best options for food.
