WHAT I LIKED

I love that Kennesaw is diverse and there is somewhere for everyone to fit in. I also love that most of the professors value your education and want you to pass their class. Kennesaw is also one of the cheaper schools in GA , but still kind of expensive. I love the comfortability of this campus and I also love the food. The gym is very nice and so are some of the buildings. There is also lots of activities and things to get involved in.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

The dorms could use remodeling. There is not enough housing for upperclassmen and the housing that is available is extremely outdated.

WHAT I LIKED

Kennesaw State University is a great school to go to. There are plenty of on and off-campus housing, however, the housing tends to be on the expensive side. If the food you something you worry about, I would recommend getting a meal plan. Also, there are different organizations on campus for students to socialize, it is just that you as a student might have to seek them out yourself. This is a great school to get a great education at and lots of people come here for different reasons.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

I would recommend for anyone pick their roommates wisely. In my opinion, a roommate can make or break your college experience. If you are randomly placed with someone it is normal, just try to interact with them, be yourself, and be kind.

WHAT I LIKED

It is a great commuter school, great for living off-campus and being close to the highway without having to be in the city. There are a lot of study-abroad opportunities, where you can team up as a transient student and attend other universities but still get university credit.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

KSU doesn’t have a historic element going back generations of people attending. So when it comes to school pride and sporting events, there isn’t a big show out like other universities. Despite KSU now having the largest student body in the state of Georgia.

The staff is helpful and some of the professors are very passionate about what they do. There are no communal bathrooms.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

The professors are hit or miss, and the staff isn't always the most helpful. The food options are limited and very mid.

WHAT I LIKED

Kennesaw is a very active school, especially when it comes to the lives of students. The school is constantly hosting events where students can receive free gifts, food, and even credit for a school-wide bucket list! The people here are very nice, not just the staff but students as well. Most people I've run into are very funny and enjoyable to be around. The school offers plenty of services to help students who struggle mentally and physically. There are so many wonderful study places around campus, and it's very clean here. The location of the school is also very ideal, less than half an hour from Atlanta, there are two malls within 15 minutes of the school and plenty of places to eat within walking distance! I love it here.
