The foundation year is kind of rough if you already know what you want to do, but overall it's very informative, and almost every teacher has such a good understanding of what they teach it's incredible
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
The dining hall is atrocious with staff that care so little it's baffling. The Foundation year is very long and honestly could be condensed to a single semester. Some students are what the kids call 'chronically online.
I've been exposed to multiple ceramic techniques I never was at the previous ceramic college. I feel like the instructors really try to get you ready for the real world after you graduate.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
I like hands-on, during the virus outbreak we had to take some classes online. Overall I love KCAI
I understand it was just my first year in this institute but I really was hoping that the "Foundation Seminar" would improve preferably for the incoming students especially if they want to push their major.
