When would I need to change to online from being on-campus?

Probably the sooner, the better, so we have enough time to get everything switched. Email an online recruiter - (Jacob Bentley) and he can help you get switched over for next semester.

How many college credits earned in high school does JBU accept as a freshman?
John Brown University
Hi Grace! As long as you take those credits while in HS, there is no limit or amount that makes you a transfer. Once you graduate from HS, enroll at another college, then apply to JBU, that's when we consider you a true transfer. The only exception is credit earned through AP or CLEP. We do limit that type of credit to 30 hours for a bachelor's degree. Let me know if you have any other questions!

If I start at JBU with wanting to be on campus but then I want to switch to online, is that possible?
John Brown University
Good question. The short answer is yes, you can. However, some of the programs offered online are different than the programs in person, so you'd have to check and make sure you could finish the degree online. Reach out to one of our counselors and they'll walk you through what's best for your situation -
