WHAT I LIKED

I like how many professors offered to help their students prepare for their future careers.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

The atmosphere of the environment of the school was not so welcoming to me, and the school seemed to have many cliques.

WHAT I LIKED

Jackson State is a culture-rich university and is great for students who may find themselves disconnected from their ancestral history. The campus is always filled with activities, people to help, and, most importantly, great energy.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

Honestly, the dorms could be a little better regarding access to certain things. The campus is a little far from the city, so that is also something to consider.

WHAT I LIKED

I like that the buildings are within walking distance & professors are approachable. There are lots of community services options available & lots of student activities involvement and events. The campus in itself is pretty. It's very close-knit & I like that feeling.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

The food isn't that great & the some of dorms aren't kept up to standards. Communication isn't great at all, especially with key information.
