WHAT I LIKED

I like that the staff truly wants the best for the students. They take time out of their days to help others who may need it.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

There are many uncertainties about this college. Whether it's not knowing what resources you can have when it comes to advising, or having technical issues when it comes to your home campus, I have faced many issues at this school.

WHAT I LIKED

The personal connections with your professors are one of the best things Ivy Tech has to offer. Your teachers, for the most part, are genuinely interested and concerned about you. They are constantly offering help and ways for you to be successful. It is a good college to go to before transferring to get a bachelor's degree as you are more prepared and experienced.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

The advisors can sometimes be very insensitive. This might not be just an Ivy Tech thing as opposed to it being a worldwide college issue. Advisors sometimes tend to rush you in order to get you out of their doors instead of actually giving a helping hand.

WHAT I LIKED

It’s a very comfortable place to study. I take my classes online and it’s been a success so far.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

Sometimes it takes a while to reach the advisor and its website is too redundant.

WHAT I LIKED

I had great professors at Ivy Tech that genuinely wanted to help me advance through school. In my personal experience, the professors were very helpful and provided a lot of office hours to help you understand the material.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

There might be some hit or miss professors, I personally did not have a bad professor but I have heard comments about other professors. Try to power through your general education classes, once you get to actual career classes is when you get the professors that actually care about your education.
