Ivy Tech Community College is an excellent educational institution. The professor is quite approachable and collaborates with you on a variety of concerns. Ivy Tech is a very adaptable college that helps you to develop both personally and intellectually.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
While Ivy Tech is a great place to go, I did have some issues with my first advisor (the person who tells you what classes you need to take to graduate) and the records department. They were clearly on opposite sides of the same coin. My advisor told me that I was ready to graduate and that I needed to fill out a graduation application but in reality, I was not. My advice would be to always keep up with your classes and coursework. Be sure to get an advisor that cares and wants the best for you.
I appreciated the flexibility of the classes and the many different options for financial aid. It makes tuition very affordable, easing the burden of student debt.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
It is a smaller campus, so you won’t get the same social life as you would at a traditional college. However, the benefits are worth it.
While we do our best to show up-to-date information, due to COVID-19 and other factors out of our control, it is possible that the data we are showing about test requirements, application deadlines, and more, are inaccurate. Please verify with the college itself via their website to ensure you are aware of all requirements and deadlines.
