Hardin-Simmons University
Candidates who are accepted into our DPT program normally have a pre-requisite course at 3.4 or above with their overall GPA usually at 3.5 or above. We also require each student who applies to at least have 50 hours in the field - but if accepted into the program they must have at least 100 combined observation / volunteer hours in various venues (outpatient, inpatient, acute hospital, home health, skilled nursing, etc.) before we would allow them to start in the new DPT cohort of 40 students each August.
