Does Hamilton College offer LGBTQ+ inclusive dorms, and if not is there a way to make sure that any roommates are accepting?
Hamilton College
Hello Socorro, Thanks for the question! Before you arrive onto campus, you are sent a housing questionnaire to fill out in order to be paired up with another first year who shares similar living preferences. Additionally, we have special interest housing where after your freshman year you can arrange to live in residence hall with like-minded people and do programming around a shared interest (e.g. Social justice special interest housing has been around at Hamilton for a while). But overall, Hamilton is committed to an inclusive environment.

Does Hamilton College require Freshmen to live on campus?
Hamilton College
Hi Julia, Thanks so much for your question! Hamilton College is a fully residential college, meaning that for all 4 years, 100% of students are living on campus. If you want more information about residential life during your first year at Hamilton, please feel free to find more information on this page on our website: https://www.hamilton.edu/campuslife/where-to-live/first-year-housing/home. Where can I find scholarships opportunities that Hamilton College offers?
Hamilton College
Hi Aranza, Thanks for the question! Hamilton is actually one of few schools in the entire country to meet 100% of demonstrated financial need AND also be need-blind in our admissions process. Also, all of our financial aid is need-based, meaning there are no merit/athletic/art scholarships--all of our aid is going to students who need it the most. To learn more about types of aid at Hamilton, please find more info here: https://www.hamilton.edu/admission/finaid/types-of-aid. Best, Erick
