The English Department at Frostburg State is an absolutely amazing place. The teachers were not only there to teach but to encourage. They cared about their students outside of academics, and I still am in contact with them to this day. I loved my time at this school and made many friends that I am still close to now. The school is smaller and it's not in a highly-populated area, but I found the mountain scenery to be very calming and a great place to study. There is a variety of housing options as well as food options. It's a great place for anyone who enjoys being outdoors. Just watch out for bears.
Not a lot of entertainment options in town. If you're someone who enjoys nightlife it's a bit of a hike to the nearest town with any type of nightlife. Not a lot of part-time job opportunities outside of restaurants.
