My first year was pretty rocky due to the coronavirus pandemic, so I couldn't interact much due to that. However, when I finally came back to campus, I made a few good friends, the staff are all very nice and encouraging, the campus is nice and condensed, and the academics work well.
The food is fair, but if you don't eat on campus it doesn't matter, and you really need to stand out or seek help because no one will do it for you.
I liked the overall campus atmosphere and the food.
EVERYTHING else besides the two perks I mentioned earlier. The school is a joke. The staff is rude, lazy, and downright jerks. There are a few good 'apples' but for the most part, the school is chaotic and truly is a sub-par educational experience from all aspects.
I went to Framingham State for my undergraduate years and I kinda got some insight prior to going to the school so I knew where to live what meal plan is the best and what was the dos and don'ts. I lived in the upper-class dorms all the years I was on campus and I got a meal plan that had dining cash, trust me when I say it pays off in the end. I liked all of my teachers I go my first year because you know going in how they are as teachers and they all kinda give you a variety of experiences that I got to learn from. My favorite thing about my major was I got into a lot of the classes that I wanted with programs that helped me with my major. On top of that, the school offers programs that allow you to take chances that most schools do not offer. I got into a program that allows me to graduate early.
I think I didn't like that the school was not as inclusive and held activities for all the students. I think they should have tried to make it a bit more fun for the people and have a lot of gathering for the students. I also think that the academic process was sometimes difficult for me, especially at the beginning of the year, I think It was a whole process and too many websites to go through.
