I love how everyone is friendly including staff and students. It’s like having a huge family. The courses offered are very intriguing and keep you wanting more. And sometimes there are fun events held on campus so no day is a boring day.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
The dorms could be updated and the cafe food selection could be broadened.
The University works with students especially when it comes to financial aid options.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
The area isn't the best. The closest town with a shopping option is 20 minutes away. Also there was a hand ful of shooting around the area outside of the university
First, the overall experience comes out to be good. It gives you everything a college student would want to experience. Major complaints I have would be responses to maintenance requests, and room checks/fines being absurd.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
A bus is available but is not reliable. If you do not have a car, good luck getting anywhere off campus.
I love my school. I didn't know it was an HBCU until I started attending, but I don't regret a thing. I've made new friends and have been given amazing opportunities through the connections I made here.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
The only issues I've had are mostly tech related. Each semester the online section of some of my courses has had problems for the first weeks of school.
