WHAT I LIKED

What I like about Florida Memorial University, the program that they offer to students that want to pursue their career as a pilot, for example they invite real pilots from the airlines to talk about opportunities after the students graduate from the University with their pilot licenses, and the aviation department guidance counselors will help students take the next step in registering for the next semester.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

When it comes to the service in the student support service there were some huge hiccups with direction to making things simple, because the employees there were not as proficient with the type of paperwork I need to bring in, to keep things moving.

I love that is not a big university so you get familiar with everyone. It just gives you a sense of community.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

I did not like the food. There are not very healthy options and I am an athlete.

WHAT I LIKED

How small the school is. It’s a very intimate setting everybody knows each other and it has a positive vibe and really feels like family.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

Be aware of the communication at the school. You’re going to have to be on top of your own stuff and make sure you’re asking all the right questions. I’ll admit the office situation is a bit unorganized and can be frustrating sometimes. The way to overcome that is to make sure you don’t leave anything up for question. It doesn’t matter if you think you’re being annoying. It’s your future! This is necessary because if you miss out it’s on you not them. And trust me you will if you don’t come with the questions.
