WHAT I LIKED

I like the beautiful Chapel and all the benches and picnic tables outside with really pretty trees. I like how it's in the city, so you can walk some places, but it feels very much like a separate campus. The speech-language pathology program is great, especially if you want a master's degree in 5 years. Professors are kind and understanding.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

There are less enjoyable things like at any school. Food options can feel limited, especially if you want to use a meal swipe instead of Flex. It's cold, windy, and rainy in Pittsburgh.

WHAT I LIKED

The safety on the campus is very good. I’ve never felt unsafe on campus. The other students on campus make you feel at home. The entire environment is also extremely welcoming.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

Some dorms can be small, but not unlivable.

WHAT I LIKED

Duquesne has many majors students can choose from. It is a smaller campus, so one can walk to all of their classes and it's located in the city near plenty of places within walking distance to eat If you are not interested in the food on campus. Professors are nice and are there for their students, but if you're not sure rate my professor is always a great site to check out before registering for classes and just to see what the professor is like.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

One of the downsides is parking is expensive and you do have to pay the bus fares since Duquesne does not have bus passes. The food is ok most of the time but can be limited. The main dining place does have set times when it is open which can get annoying. If it's past 7:30 be prepared to eat takeout or the only place that's still open until 10 pm on campus, the incline.

WHAT I LIKED

Duquesne University is like a little city within another city. It is the perfect distance from downtown and it is very safe. It is not too big of a school, but it is not too small either.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

The dining hall is not always accessible due to class schedules.
