Crowder College is a great two-year public college for anyone looking to save money for their first two years of college.
It is small and not flashy, but the people here a great and are always willing to help.
Very friendly staff/instructors.
I had a problem with an online instructor, I would consider her very lazy and self-absorbed. It was over 7 years ago so I doubt that the problem still exists. It was an instructor for medical terminology online and she seemed to be unwilling to help any student teach or any of the obligations you would expect from an instructor. You were definitely on your own and you were teaching yourself with no help or guidance. She would even tell you that she was working full time and she just needed the money from teaching. I have never had any other problems besides this one though, I recommend on-campus classes.
What I like most about Crowder is that the instructors are willing to help you in any way they can. They will sit with you and help you understand concepts that you may be struggling to comprehend.
Like any school, there are exceptions to good instructors. However, I have only met 1 during my time here, so overall, they have a wonderful staff.
