How does CSU create an eco-friendly campus?

This is actually one our core focuses at CSU, and we are consistently ranked one of the most sustainable universities in the country. If you have ever heard of STARS, we have a platinum rating. We have LEED certified buildings, environmental science-focused learning (like our Global Environmental Sustainability program), biking programs, public transportation, composting programs, etc.

Yes, absolutely! We have a very strong Apparel Design and Merchandising program at CSU, including a new building called the Richardson Design Center on campus.

What hands-on experiences are offered to students studying Veterinarian/Animal science?

Lots of hands on experiences are available in every major/program at CSU! :) We do have a veterinary teaching hospital, which is a fully operational hospital, where our DVM (doctorate) students study. There are some experiences available here for undergraduate students as well. We also have clubs like the pre-vet club and a therapy dog training club that have offerings!

WHAT I LIKED

I honestly love this university! I’ve been going there for 2 years now and I’ve loved every second of it. I love the campus, the classrooms, and especially the teaching faculty. They are all amazing instructors who care about their student’s success.

The community in Fort Collins is very intrusive, there are many events for student spirit. They have a great science program with great connections in order to help get better opportunities for your future.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

Fort Collins in general doesn't have a lot of options for houses unless you are into the older style. There are many nice apartments though.

I like the different experiences they have and opportunities. How everything is within walking distance and everyone seems to be friendly.

The wifi isn't the greatest. Neither are the prices of the college itself, but that's a university.
