I like how college of dupage has all the resources you need. It is not your average community college, it is like another high quality university.
Not all the professors are great and don’t look after their students.
I liked the location being decently close to my house. Pre-Covid I liked the environment for the most part, but it was kind of hard to make new friends because of the atmosphere of going into the class and then leaving as soon as possible. I made a couple of friends though. The smaller class sizes are nice, especially if you need help with something or have a question. The price for the classes is cheap and usually good quality. A good option for getting gen-eds out of the way.
The atmosphere in my experience wasn't very conducive to making new friends. The few clubs I had wanted to join were in the middle of the day, so I never joined because I wasn't able to show up for meetings in person.
I like how the counselors are always there for you and will always help you with whatever you need. I also like how the people that work there would always help you find your classroom or anywhere if you're lost. The student lounge is very relaxing and amazing. I made some friends over there and in the classrooms as well.
There are a few professors that aren't really the best and the cafeteria food isn't the best, but overall the college is great
The ability to go hybrid and part-time when adding my Libra information technology certification to the Bachelor of Arts degree I had already earned from Northern Illinois University in 2007.
Ask questions about which courses might be better in the classroom. I had one professor who needed to teach more in the online setting
Cheap classes and some motivational professors.
I met countless friends through COD Track and Field.
I didn’t like how much workload there is within each class.
