Is the school culture at College for Creative Studies more competitive or communal?
College for Creative Studies
I would say it can be both with college students at Art & Design schools there are student peer critiques and sometimes there is the idea that you are competing but the reality is you want to shine for yourself and the faculty and your peers. If there is a Corporate Sponsored project, then you may be in competition for an internship. It depends on the department and your own mindset. Arts Practice Students don't compete with Transportation Design students. So NO and maybe yes too.

Does College for Creative Studies have any good archaeology field schools?
College for Creative Studies
Sorry, we are an art & design focused college. There maybe projects through the Liberal Arts ( Academic classes ) that might be a cross-stitch of studies of how art and archaeology intersect, or a project in a specific department that uses a historical approach based on objects in a museum collection that relates to creating a contemporary influenced work.
