Clayton State has a great environment for young adults to be properly trained for the battles of the adult world. The professors do a great job of making sure that the students have the proper knowledge to succeed. The limited class size allows the teacher to dedicate more time to the students who need extra assistance to ensure no student is left behind academically. This style of teaching helps to minimize the anxiety that comes along with being afraid to ask for help. The professor are firm on deadlines, so this develops the skills to be hard working, plan oriented, dedicated, and accountable. The students are kind and belong to one another. They understand that everyone is here for a particular purpose, and are willing to produce positive and supportive relationships to ensure that everyone makes it to their goals. How small it is. It’s easier to contact your professors and you don’t get that overwhelming feeling that you’re just a number to them.
Sometimes it’s hard to communicate with teachers at the same time.
The campus is very peaceful. Classes are smaller and offer a more personal learning experience.
Not too many online options for courses. Less schedule flexibility.
It’s a good campus. The food is good and you can find support at every corner. There are lots of study rooms and places where you can relax to help you focus on your studies. The tuition is not expensive as other colleges. They also have a big gym where students can work off stress.
Honestly, it's college, so of course, there are professors that treat their class their way.
