They offer a very wide range of degrees and it is a great place to start your college studies if you want to ease into college and university life. Clark College is a good place to begin your studies before transferring to a university. They have wonderful staff and resources and have a good community. The campus is clean and welcoming and near downtown Vancouver, meaning there are lots of great places to visit close to campus. I cannot say that I have had any bad experiences at Clark. They have been a wonderful school from the very start.
Take advantage of the various resources Clark provides. They have a great advising team and counselors. They will help you find the perfect degree plan that works for your goals and interests. The professors are wonderful so never be afraid to reach out, especially if you are struggling. Clark College is a smaller community college so there is no campus housing. Clark also offers online courses so it makes school flexible and can fit anyone's lifestyle.
I was a Running Start student that had the majority of my classes online, so I don't have much to say about my "experience" at Clark.
I didn't like the Math Department.
They really aim to help students succeed! The staff at Clark will go out of their way to help in any way they can to ensure that everyone achieves their goals.
Can't really think of anything.
In my opinion, Clark College is a very good college. The buildings are very clean. I am an online student so I didn't get any food or anything like that, so I can't say anything about that. But overall, I think it's a very good college -- my teachers were very nice, and so far I've liked the experience. I would recommend it to students.
Be sure that you don't enroll in a class with a bad professor. There is a website "https://www.ratemyprofessors.com/" where you can search to see which professors are good. I would recommend everyone search your professor up before enrolling.
The professors were fairly good. There were lots of free food opportunities pre-covid, but not as much currently at the moment. A good mix of high schoolers/Running Start students as well as non-traditional students, so you'll not feel alone. The college claims there are lots of support in case people are struggling; however, despite this, I still fell through the cracks. It's a community college for what it's worth though.
While many professors were good, some were horrendous. Use Rate My Professor.
The great program director for our Substance Abuse Counseling Program!
Be prepared for NO LATE WORK.
