WHAT I LIKED

I did not stay at a dorm or eat on campus so I cannot comment on that but it was an overall great experience. I met new people and learned a lot!

WHAT I LIKED

CCC-HW was a good option for me to attend college because I needed flexibility being a full-time employee and attending classes. I made meaningful connections with some teachers, and it was at CCC where I was able to complete a milestone (AA) after trying so many times to attend school and stay engaged long enough in order to be awarded something.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

I didn't like the emphasis on meeting with a counselor each registration round because it was always hectic and difficult to get in touch with the counselor. I also felt like I could complete the work myself as I had done for the first semester before being assigned a counselor. The counselor even set me up for the wrong track, I expected to finish my AA in finance, and it turned out that my classes qualified me to finish in managerial business/economics.

I am currently a student and I enjoy how welcoming the staff is. If you need help with anything there is always someone there to help whether it be online or in person.

WHAT I LIKED

I enjoyed my time at Harold Washington the professors were accommodating throughout the semester and the selection of classes was interesting as well such as having the opportunity to take a sign language class to learn a new skill. Especially with the school being located downtown, there was always something to do and look forward to after classes had finished for the day.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

That there isn't a dining hall but there is a cafeteria in the basement which has a few vending machines that students can use. This was something that wasn't a problem for me since there were a variety of off-campus foods available for students to choose from.

WHAT I LIKED

Harold Washington college to me is a pretty decent school full of cool people. The classes are pretty decent as well.I haven't talked to a lot of my classmates but it's ok. I have some pretty ok grades. Although, I could improve on two of my classes that I didn't do too well in.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

I think prospective students should be aware of studying for their classes. Not only that but be able to keep up with everything that's due for your classes as well. For example, due dates for homework, quizzes, test, and exams.
