Cañada College is a great choice for people who are looking to earn an Associate's, a transfer Associate's, or even just save money on Gen-Ed classes. Most of the teachers are excellent (please utilize Rate My Professor, it's a life-saver), and I felt the information I learned in class was all necessary and relevant. Out of the three schools that are in the SMCC District, Cañada is easily the best.
I did not like a few of the professors I had. Rate My Professor is a great place to go for brutally honest reviews. Please heed their warnings. Something else I do not like is the location. While there is a great public transportation system to Cañada, it can be a pain if you're driving yourself.
It was a very accommodating, welcoming, friendly campus. The professors were very helpful, accommodating, and available. There was a diverse student population. The disability office was very friendly.
It is a small college.
It’s very easy to build connections as classes are small. There are a lot of programs available as well, and help is very accessible.
I’m not really sure there’s anything I dislike yet
