I am a freshman at Calvin so am just beginning and I love what I am experiencing so far. The academic work is a lot but we have very helpful professors. There's a variety of sports and games to reduce tension during the weekends for me. As an international student, I made friends quite fast, didn't expect that. I saw a host of foreigners like myself.
I think I am gonna like it here.
Calvin’s environment is very bright. The professors are always there to help you and they are very friendly. The campus is absolutely beautiful.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
Some of their beliefs currently are hurting a lot of minorities on campus. They are not good with communication. Their food can be really good or really bad. Maintenance can be a hassle.
I love Calvin College because it is a sound Christian College with sound students where I feel safe as I am an international student where I have no family nor friend here and I come from a very far third world country Myanmar and my family feel no worry about much too as they trust good Christian College.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
I believe the building, the dorms are quite old and they could be improved more to have excellent buildings, dorms for students with low price.
