I like all the programs that are available to help students.
The professors honestly care about your success and are always willing to help.
The whole zoom/masks thing. But that’s true for all colleges.
Butte college rn program is tough but it is really the best in my opinion. I also feel like the tests are helping to take the NCLEX.
The commute to some clinical is a lot.
Many majors to choose from, I believe that the athletics program is fine, not the best one but okay. I am a student-athlete and international student. .
Butte College is close to Chico. Chico is known more for the students that come in for the CSU Chico and Butte college so there is plenty of students - social life. Athletics at Butte College are hard, especially trying to combine athletics with a good degree. I am an athlete and I was trying to get a degree in Computer Science. As an athlete and as an international student this was impossible for me to achieve, the way the schools work in the US is different than in Europe. This means that I had to do all general education classes. I am looking forward to transferring but it is a question of finances. That is also the reason I had to change my major, it was estimated that the AA degree in CSCI for me was supposed to take 3-4 years. Financially it is impossible for me. I changed my major to Social and Behavioral Sciences, general education in order to finish my AA degree as soon as possible so I can obtain a scholarship and pursue a bachelor's and possibly a Masters's degree in Computer Science.
A very welcoming environment, with great students and teachers. You learn a lot. There are endless opportunities for help through your education. Lots of activities for students.
The teachers were fantastic and the students were there to learn.
