Do I need to submit a portfolio when applying to Boston Architectural College?

A portfolio is only required for applicants to select Online programs. For all other programs we will accept an open-ended Creative Sample in lieu of a portfolio.

The BAC offers select Online programs like the Online Master of Architecture, Online Master of Science in Interior Architecture, and Online Bachelor of Science in Architecture, which are advanced programs that require previous design background. Our online Master of Design Studies in Design for Human Health, Sustainable Design, and Historic Preservation do not require previous design education.

What is their IPAL program?
Boston Architectural College
The Integrated Path of Architecture Licensure (IPAL for short) is an option for all students enrolled in the Bachelor and Master of Architecture programs. This program shortens the length of requirements for architecture licensure (degree, experience hours, ARE exams), so students can earn their work hours and start taking the ARE exams while still enrolled at the BAC.
