It is not very diverse, most of the people are going to talk to people that they are comfortable around.
I think they could hire better professors.
When people claim Berry has a big beautiful campus, they are totally right! There are tons of outdoor activities from hiking and biking to camping, swimming, and more. There is a very loving and positive community at Berry as well which I partly attribute to its small student population. The dining halls aren't the best and there are only four on-campus restaurants, but it is easy to go to countless restaurants just off campus. Additionally, the professors I've had have all genuinely cared about their students and have a passion for teaching. I feel blessed to call Berry my home.
I wouldn't plan on only eating at Berry because they don't have the best options, but it is certainly good enough to make do if you have no other options. Additionally, part of having such a small school means that there isn't a marching band or extensive music program. Additionally, sports are high school level.
I like the sense of community that comes with berry as well as the small class sizes.
I don't enjoy the conditions of the dorms or the dining hall.
