WHAT I LIKED

I liked the class sizes -- probably the best thing ever, especially compared to Vanderbilt.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

I think the university is too expensive. The CEO apparently is one of the top 25 paid university heads in the USA. Kind of disgusting if you ask me.

WHAT I LIKED

Belmont was a growing place with more and more opportunities each year in differing fields. Even after I graduated it continues to grow in areas of study, campus size, student population, and everywhere in between. Nashville is a great city with a college town vibe that allows for a diverse and dynamic college atmosphere at Belmont.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

As Belmont becomes more nationally known students may not be aware it is still a Christian college and holds on to those values. But in the ever-changing world and social atmosphere of the country, Belmont changes with that and uses that background to enhance, support, and encourage students from all walks of life.

WHAT I LIKED

It's a welcoming community, but can be competitive when it comes to music. I made some great friends during my time. Though in my audio engineering major I got frustrated by the pre-requisites and it was hard to customize my major.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

It can be competitive as everyone is trying to get famous!

WHAT I LIKED

I plan to be going to Belmont University this upcoming semester. I love the campus, I love how involved my adviser is and how she is always there to answer my questions. I've heard about how great it is there, and the Psychology classes there, so I am super excited.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

I have none right now.

WHAT I LIKED

Belmont University has an amazing community. People are very welcoming and everyone feels like family. The campus is absolutely beautiful. They are always open to input from students. There are constantly fun events like food truck Fridays and puppies on the lawn. They give away free stuff all the time which can be awesome. Overall, I really love Belmont and would recommend it!

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

I’ll say depending on the dorm, freshman year can be interesting, but they are renovating some of them and building new dorms, so I don’t know if the living experiences will be quite as rough. The food could definitely be improved, but I think that is the same for most college campuses and they are slowly improving.
