Austin College professors are very kind and understanding when it comes to issues involving mental health issues. They work with you every step of the way to ensure that you're where you need to be. The college itself is very open and accepting. They also provide students with a lot of opportunities to go abroad and experience things internationally.
As it is a private college, Austin can be a bit pricey. But they do offer a lot of scholarships to assist with the costs. I would say that they can use some of that money to develop the on-campus roads a bit better. They do also need to work on accessibility entrances for some of the buildings on campus.
Austin College is known for its community. The size of the college allows for a very positive environment for students to grow and learn throughout their four years.
I didn't really like how they work out their financial aid. It may be a bit tricky to work with their aid, but as long as you are proactive and willing to work with the department, this shouldn't be an issue.
